Arrive at the office; review my calendar and to-do list for the day. Respond to email and voicemails..

Conference call with my colleague in Hungary; we’re currently working on an audit project together and need to make sure we are on track to meet deadlines.

Global Compensation Staff Meeting

10:30 am

Project work; I’m working on a website that will serve as a central resource for my partners outside of the U.S. Today I need to determine content for the site.

11:30 am

Lunch – I have lunch with my colleagues here in compensation. We normally use this time to talk about current issues – we all support different customer groups, so it is helpful to share ideas. And since I’m fairly new to the team, it’s a great opportunity for me to learn from those who’ve been here for a few years.

12:30 pm

Check and respond to email requests from my customers.

2:00 pm

Monthly meeting with my HR partner in the Law division. We’ll use this time to review any current or new issues. .

3:00 pm

Stop by my supervisor’s office to see if she can help me with a question I’ve received via email – she has some time, so we work through the issue together.

3:30 pm

Review slides and prepare for a presentation I’m giving tomorrow.

4:30 pm

Do a final email check and wrap up items I’ve worked on today. Plan a to-do list and check my calendar for tomorrow.

5:00 pm

Done at the office – time to head to the gym.
