Public Schools
There are eleven school districts in Marion County divided by geographic location.
- Indianapolis Public Schools serve students in old city boundaries
- Ten schools represent the remaining townships: Beech Grove, Decatur, Franklin, Lawrence, Perry, Pike, Speedway, Warren, Washington and Wayne
The city also provides:
- Vocational training and alternative schooling at the high school level
- Four charter schools
- Five year-round schools
Private Schools
Parochial Schools include Baptist, Church of Christ, Pentecostal, Jewish, Lutheran, Nazarene, Presbyterian, and Seventh-Day Adventist, Catholic, Non-Denominational Christian, Montessori, and more. Tuition ranges from $1,500-12,900 annually
