We are pleased to provide you the Gemzar® Media Kit. Gemzar (gemcitabine HCl), received approval in the U.S. for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic pancreas cancer in 1996. In 1998, the drug, in combination with cisplatin, received U.S. approval for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. On May 19, 2004, it received U.S. approval for, in combination with Taxol® (paclitaxel), as a first-line therapy option for metastatic breast cancer.
