Lilly Global Day of Service Goes Virtual and Remote to Improve Health, Education and Communities

Every year, Lilly employees volunteer in local communities around the world through our Global Day of Service. We partner with local organizations to advance their efforts to promote healthy lives, healthy minds and healthy communities.
This year, Lilly pivoted to virtual and remote projects that focus on people affected by COVID-19 and support for our racial justice efforts. With so many people struggling with health problems, job loss, isolation and more due to COVID-19, as well as racial injustice, our social impact efforts are more important than ever.
Employees participated in more than 100 projects this year, with safety and service at the center of them all. Projects included making masks, giving blood, delivering meals, creating virtual science lessons for public school students, and more. Learn more in this video:
