Heart Disease Warning Signs for Women
If you experience any of the following symptoms, consult your health care professional immediately:
- Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing, or pain in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes or goes away and returns
- Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck, or arms
- Discomfort in the chest, accompanied by lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea, or shortness of breath
- Chest pain can also be described as a heaviness between the breasts or a burning sensation in the upper abdomen
- Stomach or abdominal pain
- Nausea or dizziness
- Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing
- Unexplained anxiety, weakness, or fatigue
- Palpitations, cold sweat, or paleness
- Back pain
- Jaw pain and throat tightness.
