We believe in the value of a healthy environment for our patients, our customers, and our employees. We’ve established goals to help ensure we remain good stewards of the natural resources necessary to run our business.. This means improving the energy efficiency of our operations, reducing our water intake, and the amount of waste sent to landfills. This is an important part of how we do business at Lilly. What are we doing?

From business improvements such as green chemistry to employee-driven activities like carpooling and recycling, we are working hard to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment and make sustainability part of our corporate culture. Our Energy, Waste, and Water Reduction Fund helps advance sustainability projects at our facilities globally, like the installation of solar panels on two of the largest buildings at our Sesto manufacturing site in Italy.
