Mounjaro is approved in Canada in three dosage forms:

  • A single-dose vial,
  • A single-dose pre-filled pen (not available in Canada)
  • A multi-dose prefilled KwikPen®

Currently, the multi-dose prefilled Mounjaro KwikPen is the dosage form that is supplied and available at pharmacies for patients.

The availability of the single-dose Mounjaro vial is limited to the remaining inventory in the market as more patients move to the KwikPen format.
