You should keep Mounjaro with you when travelling. If needed, patients and caregivers may store unused Mounjaro vial at room temperature, protected from light, for up to 21 days.
We recommend that when you travel you should keep Mounjaro with you (e.g. plane, car, bus, train, etc.).
Do not pack Mounjaro with checked luggage. It is possible for luggage hold areas to have wide changes in temperatures. These temperatures may be too cold or too hot for Mounjaro.
Remember that it is always better to keep Mounjaro as cool as possible if you cannot refrigerate Mounjaro between 2°C to 8°C. Storing Mounjaro between 2°C to 8°C is the best temperature to protect it.
Never freeze Mounjaro as this can damage the medicine.
Refer to the airline you are flying with for information about their travel policies, including travelling with medication.
