Splitting a dose of Mounjaro from a vial into smaller doses is not recommended. The Mounjaro vial is for single-dose use.

  • The Mounjaro vial does not contain a preservative.
  • Mounjaro solution should be injected as soon as the needle is pushed through the rubber stopper and the solution removed from the vial.
  • Any remaining solution in the vial, after withdrawal of the dose, should be discarded.
