Visual: Video title, on-screen text and image appear. On the right side, a hand is shown holding the ZepboundTM KwikPen® with a needle attached. The KwikPen is in the priming position and the needle is pointing upwards. As the dose knob is pressed, medication is visibly released from the needle tip.
Voiceover: First, let’s take a look at some essential information. Each Zepbound KwikPen contains four doses, with each dose delivering a fixed volume of 0.6 mL of solution. The KwikPen includes enough medication to allow for priming before every injection. The lines on the Zepbound KwikPen are not intended to indicate the number of doses remaining in the KwikPen. This image shows the approximate plunger position after the fourth dose has been delivered.

Voiceover: The rest of this video will walk through Steps 4 to 9 of the Zepbound KwikPen Instructions for Use.
Let’s begin with Step 4.
Always use a new pen needle for each injection. This helps prevent infections and avoids blocked needles. Remove the paper tab from the outer needle shield.

On-screen text: Pull off the outer needle shield and keep it. This will be reused.
Pull off the inner needle shield and throw it away.
STEP 06
Visual: Text and animated image appear on screen labeled as Step 06. On the right, an illustration shows a KwikPen with a capped needle attached. The outer needle shield is being removed and placed on a surface with a green checkmark to indicate it should be kept. The inner needle shield is then removed and discarded in a bin. The bin then disappears.
Voiceover: Step 7: Slowly turn the dose knob until you hear two clicks and see the extended line in the dose window. This is the prime position. If needed, you can adjust by turning the dose knob in either direction until the prime position lines up with the dose indicator.

2 CLICKS
It can be corrected by turning the dose knob in either direction until the prime position lines up with the dose indicator.
STEP 07
Visual: Text and animated image appear on screen labeled as Step 07. An illustration shows a hand turning the dose knob on the KwikPen. A visual cue appears in the dose window, showing the extended line that indicates the prime position. An ear icon is pointing toward the dose knob, emphasizing the instruction to listen for two clicks. This visual reinforces the importance of both hearing and seeing the correct indicators when setting the KwikPen to prime.
Voiceover: Step 8: Hold your KwikPen with the needle pointing up. Gently tap the cartridge holder to help collect any air bubbles at the top.

[time counter on the screen: 01 sec, 02 sec, 03 sec, 04 sec, 05 sec)
Check the dose window. You must see the "0".
Do not inject into the body.
STEP 09
Visual: Text and animated image appear on screen labeled as Step 09. The image shows a hand holding the KwikPen with the needle pointing upward. The dose knob is being pressed in, and a timer icon displays the count to five while holding the knob. The dose window on the KwikPen changes to “0”, confirming the KwikPen is properly primed. A drop of medication is shown at the tip of the needle.
Voiceover: Priming removes air from the cartridge and makes sure that your KwikPen is working correctly. Your KwikPen has been primed if a small amount of medicine comes out of the tip of the pen needle.
If you don’t see medicine at the tip of the needle after completing the priming steps:
Repeat Steps 7 to 9 of the Instructions for Use, no more than 2 additional times. Still not seeing medicine? Change the pen needle and repeat Steps 7 to 9, no more than one additional time. If you still don’t see medicine, contact Lilly at 1-888-545-5972. For complete instructions, always refer to the Zepbound KwikPen Instructions for Use.
