Lilly seeks to provide people with more choices to find care that works for them. The independent providers found on Lilly.com could complement your current primary care team or be an alternative to in-person care for certain conditions. In some cases, you may not have access to a specialist in your area or would like a second opinion. With options available, you can connect with providers that you may not have access to otherwise.

Do the independent providers listed on Lilly.com only prescribe Lilly medicines?
No.

The providers that are available via Lilly.com are independent. They will use their own clinical judgement when treating patients. All care is provided based on the specific needs of the individual patient.

Independent providers may prescribe a Lilly medicine, a medicine made by another company, a different type of treatment, or make other recommendations.

What is the “Find in-person care” search tool, and how is it different from telehealth?
The “Find in-person care” search tool is provided by Healthgrades, an independent service provider. The tool allows you to search for an independent healthcare professional near you. The search results will provide in-person care options.

While some of the providers may also offer telehealth visits, the main goal is in-person care. Telehealth available through Healthgrades is different and separate from the telehealth-only providers listed at Lilly.com.

How can I be listed in Healthgrades?

Healthgrades is an independent service provider for healthcare professionals. One way to access it is through the In-Person Care page. With the Healthgrades tool, providers can use the NPI lookup to verify if their Healthgrades profile is visible in the results seen by Lilly.com visitors.

Start by locating the “Are you a healthcare professional?” banner above the search results. After locating your profile using NPI, Healthgrades offers instructions to opt-in, opt-out, or update your profile.

For Healthcare Providers
How can I remove my Healthgrades profile from the results displayed on Lilly?
To remove your profile:

1. Select a condition and select “Search for doctors” to populate a Healthgrades tool.
2. Locate “Are you a healthcare professional?” above the list of provider results.
3. Select “Go”. A pop up will appear to enter your NPI number. This is used to locate your Healthgrades profile. If your profile appears in the results displayed by Lilly.com, you will see instructions to opt-out.

Note: This opt-out will only remove your profile from Lilly search results, not from results on the Healthgrades website.

What do I do if I have an issue with my Healthgrades profile or want to be removed from the Healthgrades database completely?
Please visit the Healthgrades Help Center for providers. Lilly is not responsible for the accuracy of Healthgrades profiles. We are not able to process any requests to modify or remove profiles.
