Shilpa Gupta

Shilpa leads Corporate Affairs, Public Policy, and Communications for Lilly India. She works across the business to drive stakeholder engagement, shape policy outcomes, and lead strategic communications that support business priorities and strengthen Lilly’s presence in India.

Shilpa has worked at the intersection of policy, business, and government across sectors including retail, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and telecommunications. She brings experience advising multinational organizations, addressing regulatory challenges, and enabling frameworks that support innovation, access, and market development.

Prior to joining Lilly, she was Head of Public Policy at Pernod Ricard, led the Chairman’s Office at Bharti Enterprises, and held leadership roles at PwC India, FICCI, and PHD Chamber.

She works closely with central and state ministries and regulators, including MoHFW, DoP, DBT, CDSCO, PMO, and engages with multilateral institutions, embassies, and the diplomatic corps.
