Jon Moeller
Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, The Procter & Gamble Company
Jon Moeller is the chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). He was elected to the Eli Lilly and Company board of directors effective December 1, 2024.
Moeller joined P&G in 1988 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility. He was named chief financial officer in 2009 and added the role of chief operating officer in 2019. He became president and chief executive officer in 2021 and chairman of the board in 2022.
He has been an integral part of P&G's leadership team for well over two decades, developing strategies that P&G people are executing with excellence to drive the company’s growth today. P&G’s positive momentum and return to balanced growth and value creation reflect the underlying strength of these strategic choices and the organization.
Moeller served as P&G’s chief operating officer, responsible for profit/loss for Latin America, India, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. He also led the company’s investor relations, information technology, global business services, sales, market operations, purchasing, manufacturing, and distribution efforts. He was P&G’s chief financial officer for more than 12 years, leading its finance and accounting, tax, treasury, corporate strategy, business development and investor relations functions.
Moeller is a member of the boards for the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, the Business Roundtable, the Consumer Goods Forum, and Isle of Harris Distillers Ltd. He previously served for eight years on the board of directors for Monsanto, where he was the chairman of the Audit Committee.
Moeller is active in Greater Cincinnati's business, civic and cultural leadership, serving in an advisory role on local boards. He is a Trustee Emeritus and former Chairman of the Cincinnati Art Museum board of trustees.
