Increase access to medicines
Our commitment to social impact also inspires how we work to expand access to our medicines and tackle complex global health challenges.
We’re making care more affordable in the United States, like launching programs so that anyone using Lilly insulin – regardless of their insurance status – is eligible to fill their monthly Lilly insulin prescription for $35.
And we’re also separately supporting efforts to improve access to quality health care around the world, furthering the goal of reaching as many patients with unmet needs, no matter where they live.
Reaching across industry boundaries, we support leading organizations in their work to reach more people and help them feel better in their daily lives. Our collective work benefits individual patients and the entire global health system.
What is Lilly 30x30?
We use a mix of pipeline development, programs, and philanthropy to improve health systems and concentrate on diseases where we have deep technical expertise, including diabetes, obesity, and cancer.
We focus our 30x30 efforts
in three key areas:
Discovering medicines, repurposing internal assets and collaborating externally for diseases that disproportionately affect people in resource-limited settings.
Strengthening and creating new programs that help improve access to Lilly medicines.
