So far, I have really enjoyed my placement year. It has been so fun and inspiring to see others in their careers and learning how they have got to where they are. My team have been so welcoming and eager to help me learn and improve on my work. I have been able to put my knowledge and previous academic achievements to practice whilst working on some great projects. I would highly recommend Lilly as a great company, that is focused on attracting student talent!

We comply with regulations and Lilly quality objectives to ensure patient safety, customer satisfaction and compliance with health authorities' expectations. During my placement so far, I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of impactful projects, both internally and externally, which have helped to diversify my knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole. I’ve loved collaborating with cross-functional global colleagues, ultimately learning from their vast expertise and experiencing their drive to deliver vital medicines to patients and shape the future regulatory environment. As I reflect back to the start of the placement, I wonder where the time has gone but also appreciate how much I’ve grown both professionally and personally!
