We are immensely proud that our UK IT Student Programme has been running for over 40 years, where we are focused on developing talent and creating leaders of the future. Our placements are designed to expand your skillset by giving you real responsibility in a professional environment. With relevant training, feedback, a mentoring programme and a strong network supporting you throughout the year, you will be making a difference in a constantly evolving industry.

Business and Technology Integrator

Business and Technology Integrators have a high learning agility and are great communicators, translating technical concepts to non-technical people and vice versa. They engage closely with colleagues across the company to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of their work, in order to drive tech innovation to improve the way they work and coordinate the delivery of these solutions.

Software Engineer

Software Engineers are self-starters and have a desire to experiment with new technologies. They provide the technical expertise and leadership to turn ideas and concepts into a solution. They work on projects that involve designing and building custom solutions that can transform many areas of the business from local to enterprise-wide initiatives.

Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineers like to solve challenges and have a desire to have a large-scale impact. You will work in our Microsoft Azure or AWS areas, providing the technical expertise and leadership to turn ideas and concepts into a solution. Building and implementing repeatable patterns, templates, blueprints, and accelerators are vital to this position and will help Lilly enable faster adoption of cloud services across the organisation.

Data Engineer

Data Engineers are critical thinkers with a natural curiosity to use data to answer important business questions. Data Engineers at Lilly work to prepare data to make it available for consumption across the entire organisation. Working across the organisation to understand business needs, the enterprise infrastructure, and source systems, you will transform raw datasets to produce integrated and curated datasets, effectively communicating the results.
