Since 1978 Lilly has had a growing presence in Ireland, employing 3,000 people at its three sites at Kinsale, Little Island, County Cork and Limerick. The close links that have been fostered between the life sciences industry, communities, and universities with strong science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) programs in Limerick and across the country, made Limerick the ideal location for Lilly’s new facility.
