Breast Cancer Now’s service pledge

Lilly is proud to be a 2025/2026 sponsor of Breast Cancer Now’s service pledge, which brings patients, healthcare professionals and Cancer Alliances together to work in partnership to design and deliver patient-centred improvements, for everybody’s experience of breast cancer.

To date, over 150 breast cancer services across the UK have worked with patients to develop their local Service Pledge, delivering over 400 improvements for patients in the past 5 years.2

At Lilly, we are committed to better understanding the experiences of patients and their loved ones, and to supporting projects, like the Breast Cancer Service Pledge, that improve their care.

Improving screening for breast and cervical cancer in Kenya

As part of our Global Health programme, Lilly provides community health screenings through AMPATH, Lilly’s global health partner in Kenya.

Through product and financial donations, Lilly and the Lilly Foundation support the AMPATH consortium, including AMPATH’s oncology centre and mobile screening programme for breast and cervical cancer.

Pastor, former nurse, mother and cancer warrior who supports others on their journey – Nancy Odari is all of these and more. “As we share our stories, we become strong.” Today, Nancy helps others get screening for early detection. “I have a vision of going far, giving people hope.”
