Lilly Limerick

Lilly Limerick broke ground in March 2023 and is on track to be making medicine in 2026. Already, the site has over 300 full-time employees, bringing Lilly Limerick to life and has had a total investment of $2 billion.  

The Limerick manufacturing site will be Lilly’s most advanced to date – a fully integrated digital site with the latest machine automation, manufacturing execution, and data technologies designed to ensure product and data quality. This will enable right-first-time execution, all in support of the safe and reliable supply of medicines.

For more than 145 years, Lilly has united caring with discovery, with the aim to make life better for people around the world and bring innovative medicines to patients who need them.  

Lilly Limerick will enable manufacturing excellence for the production and delivery of quality medicine. The new facility will also bring 450 new permanent jobs and expand Lilly’s manufacturing network for biologic active ingredients.
