Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) of the Year – Business and Finance Awards

Lilly Ireland received the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) of the Year Award at the Business and Finance Awards 2024. These awards recognise leadership and excellence across Irish and international business, making this milestone recognition especially meaningful. This award reflects Lilly’s long-standing commitment to investment, innovation, and sustainable growth in Ireland—and highlights the ongoing expansion of our footprint.

Staff Development and Upskilling Award – Invest in Ireland Awards

Lilly Limerick was honoured with the 2025 Staff Development and Upskilling Award at the Invest in Ireland Awards, which celebrate the positive impact of the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector in Ireland. This recognition reflects Lilly’s ongoing commitment to developing talent and building a high-performing, future-ready workforce. Through our collaboration with the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT), we designed a customised upskilling programme to equip our team with advanced bioprocessing knowledge and hands-on training. The award underscores Lilly’s focus on continuous learning, innovation, and creating long-term opportunities for professional development.

Overall Facility of the Year Award

Lilly Kinsale’s latest manufacturing facility was recognised with the prestigious Overall Facility of the Year Award at the Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) in Florida - an incredible recognition on the international stage. The vision for this project was to marry innovative, advanced technologies into a first-of-its-kind hybrid manufacturing platform, to support the making of medicines. Having already taken home the FOYA Category Award for Innovation in April 2024, this achievement is a testament to our team’s dedication to innovation, and commitment to excellence.

Best in Cork – Large Business 2024

Lilly Kinsale and Lilly GBS won Best in Cork Award for Large Business 2024 at the inaugural awards ceremony. The Best in Cork Awards are a celebration of excellence, innovation, and the spirit of community that defines the region.

Outstanding Employee Resource Group (ERG) Award 2024

Lilly Kinsale's EnAble ERG proudly took home the Irish Centre for Diversity award for Outstanding Employee Resource Group, the only dedicated celebration and recognition of advances in D&I in Ireland. Led by an internal group of volunteers, EnAble’s purpose is to create a disability-confident culture. EnAble advocates to advance disability awareness and employee well-being, and this award reflects the hard work and dedication of our Lilly Kinsale's EnAble ERG group.

Pharmaceutical Industry Awards 2023

Our Global Business Solutions (GBS) teams in Little Island, Cork, were proud to take home three awards at the Pharmaceutical Industry Awards 2023, as well as being shortlisted for a fourth. We won the Best use of Technology Award for embedding innovation, the Health and Safety Award for emergency preparedness for return to office and hybrid working, and the HR Achievement Award for talent acquisition transformation.
