My placement year was a great opportunity to learn intangible skills and knowledge that couldn’t have been taught from a textbook. The real-world experience enabled me to adapt and grow as I was placed outside of my comfort zone and confronted with new challenges. It helped me gain insight into the inner workings of the corporate world and the various career opportunities available to me. It has been a great opportunity to focus on my career development.
